When transitioning to our service, it’s important to note that voicemails may not necessarily transfer between carriers. To ensure the safety of your important messages, we recommend backing up your phone prior to the switch. Here’s how you can do it:
For iPhone Users:
1. Open the Phone app.
2. Tap Voicemail.
3. Select the voicemail message you wish to save.
4. Tap the Share icon. Sharing the voicemail this way won’t remove it from your voicemail storage.
5. Choose from the following options to save your voicemail:
6. Notes: Save it as a new note or add it to an existing one.
7. Audio file: Store it as a file on your phone that can be edited in the Voice Memo app and automatically backed up to iTunes.
8. Message and Mail: Send the voicemail as an MP3 via text or email.
9. Airdrop: Share the file wirelessly as an MP3 with other devices in your vicinity.
9. Save as Voice Memo: Use the Voice Memos app to play the saved messages.
For Android Users:
1. Open your voicemail app.
2. Tap (or in some cases, tap and hold) the voicemail message you wish to save.
3. Depending on your voicemail app, you may have various options, including:
4. Save to your phone.
5. Archive/Backup the voicemails to your preferred cloud storage service.
6. Download a copy to physical storage, such as an HDD, SD card, or USB flash memory, for extra safekeeping.
